Education and Awareness is a key component of the mission of Renew Hope. We must spread the word and help people to see the devastation that sex trafficking/exploitation causes in our communities and our society.
Renew Hope raises awareness through our proprietary S.T.A.G.E. gatherings, our upcoming “Live Life – Give Life” podcast, speaking engagements and expert panel appearances.
Life Recovery services are provided through the SAM Mentorship Program and the deep dive work at the Amborella House residential group home.
Renew Hope is a Faith Based organization that takes all aspects of a survivors life and experience into account and works to restore women through therapy, life skills development, educational and vocational assistance and accountable care.
Human trafficking is when people are recruited or harbored, by threat or force, to be exploited, according to the United Nations. Mostly, it’s commercial sex or labor exploitation, and a victim does not need to be transported anywhere in order to fall under the definition.
Trafficking is covert and illegal, and precise information is not easy to get. The US State Department and trafficking hotlines are helping to paint a clearer picture of what’s going on.
Hundreds of thousands of victims are estimated to be working in the sex industry, or in the hospitality, beauty, or agricultural industries where such conditions could be occurring. ~ BusinessInsider.com
